Who are we?
Lamula Nassuna is a fashion brand, founded out of a desire to encourage, empower and celebrate the woman of today. The clothing takes inspiration from issues of identity, culture, art and tradition. The clothes are designed and created for the universal female from a variety of different walks of life.
The very women we aim to represent inspires us. They are the reason why Lamula Nassuna exists, as well as the joy behind the zeal for what we do. We enjoy the abstract, the quirky, the familiar and unfamiliar. We’re not limited to the regulations life sometimes present. We’re not afraid to explore or delve deeper, because we believe in living a life of love and truth.
Founded by Ugandan born, London- based designer Lamula Anderson and a team of local experts, our garments are manufactured in the UK and Uganda. We find that this provides a unique opportunity for us to delight in collaborative originality and ignite independence from our consumers, through making bespoke pieces for them, as and when they need it. Our relationships with outstanding suppliers such as Liberty Art Fabrics, Hainsworth and Linton Tweed ensure that our passion for quality is reflected throughout the end-to-end production process. Our craftsmanship enables us to revel in innovation.
This is creativity, and we’re in love with every single part of it.
